Cotton

At the request of indiginous craft-workers International Tartans is planning to have each tartan printed in cotton in each country for use in their fashion, craft and gift industries. Discussions are taking place with High Commissions, weavers and craft-workers in each country.

Wrapping paper

At the request of the African craft-workers exhibiting at the World Women Trade Fairs & Expos in London, Santa Monica and Washington this year, eight ‘national’ designs have been produced in the form of wrapping paper, and can now be used by organisations, schools and individuals to generate funds, not only here in the UK, but throughout Europe and the USA. Each sheet is A2 size and overprinted with the name of the country and its promotional strap-line. The profit from a single sheet can feed a child for a week.

For ORGANISATIONS

Available in packs of 100xA2 sheets wrapping paper at £75 each pack allows fundraisers to generate more income, more often, and from a far greater range of donors. We recommend a selling price of at least £1.25 per sheet giving a profit of £50 per pack - enough to feed a child for a year. To find out if it will work for your organisation we will supply a first order for as few as 25 sheets at £18.75

The paper comes in easy-to-handle cardboard tubes and delivery is free anywhere in the UK. Orders may be split between tartans of your choice.

For VOLUNTEERS

The above offer is available to volunteers who are raising funds to get to Africa, whether it be school-children on an exchange scheme, students on a gap-year, or simply ordinary men and women contributing their time and effort to a worthwhile cause. They retain all profits.

For INDIVIDUALS

Anyone in the UK can simply order as few as two sheets of the tartan of their choice for only £3.00 including packaging and postage. Overseas customers please ask for a quote. 50p from each order goes to humanitarian projects in that country.
