NAMIBIA

With just over 2,000,000 in a country of over 800,000 km2 the Republic of Namibia has one of the three lowest densities of population in the world.

Home to the Kalahari Desert which it shares with South Africa to the south and Botswana to the east, it is bounded by Angola and Zambia to the north and the Atlantic Ocean forms its entire western border.

Namibia suffers from a high incidence of malaria combined with one of the continent’s highest HIV/Aids infection rates.
